Jilly Morey
Songwriter/Lead Vocals
Jilly has spent the last 35 years writing poetry, mostly focused on the ups and downs of family relationships and the effects of struggling with depression from a young age. Her writing from the past five years has turned into the lyrics for our songs. She grew up in a musical family, but did not start singing professionally until 2018.
Jilly and David didn't start writing music together until they had been married for over two decades. After 21 years of marriage, it was a crazy string of events that gave birth to the band, and she and David have been writing songs together and performing ever since. That was just over five years ago, and 70+ songs later, they are releasing their third EP in late 2023.
We have been together for 26 years, and so we kind of finish each other’s sentences in a way. David writes the riffs and Jilly jumps in with lyrics like jumping on a moving train. Every song develops like that. It’s very fluid, with stops and starts and a natural comfortable progression until we feel like it’s done.
"We work hard on our music, we challenge each other, and laugh a lot," she says.

David Morey
Guitar/Vocals
David was born and raised in St. Louis. He comes from a musical background, and he spends a lot of his time creating the riffs and melodies for our songs. He is an introvert, as we tend to be. As a lot of artists do, David finds making music, the writing process, playing guitar and singing with the band an acceptably uncomfortable process for the creative payback.
David and Jilly build the songs together. It's a give and take and a process of David doesn't need much to be happy. Family, music, books, a cat in his lap, dogs – the simple things in life...and maybe a couple of kick-ass guitars.

Chris Dunn
guitar and vocals
Chris has been with us since the beginning of our band. Our babies were friends, we became friends, we wrote songs and practiced in our basement and figured out our sound. Then we played for neighbors, friends, and family on our front porch over a year before heading to studio. Chris first came for some jam sessions and our sound developed organically from those sessions. We took a COVID hiatus, we missed him, we are so glad he's back to add his unique style and musical voicing to our music.

Josh Bayless
Drums, keyboards, vocals
Josh is our talented and multi instrumental wonder! He has been doing something musical pretty much his whole life, and we love his kindness, talent, and calm enthusiasm! We have known Josh for a few years, and we are so glad the stars aligned for him to join us. We don’t know of another person who has a greater love for playing baseball and playing music at the same time!

Lucan Stone
Bass Guitar, Vocals
Lucan is a talented multi-instrument musician who jumped on the LotM train when we needed his bass skills, and we are so glad he has joined us for this journey! He makes us laugh, has a low key sense of humor, and we have never celebrated someone getting their driver's license more than when Lucan could finally drive himself to practices! Yeehaw!
